Product Advantages

Automatic Shut-Off for Controlled Refueling

The automatic shut-off mechanism is designed to stop fuel delivery when the nozzle detects the applicable tank filling condition. This helps reduce overfilling and supports more controlled refueling when the nozzle is used correctly.

Rotating Swivel for Easier Hose Handling

The 360° swivel connection allows greater freedom of movement between the nozzle and hose. This helps reduce hose twisting and makes handling more convenient during repeated dispensing operations.

Lightweight Aluminum Construction

The aluminum body offers a balance of manageable weight and structural durability, making the VA-80 suitable for routine use in compatible fuel dispensing environments.

Flexible Spout and Accessory Options

Different spout configurations and accessories allow distributors to select a suitable setup for their customers’ dispensing requirements. Seal material selection should also account for the intended fuel and operating conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How does an automatic fuel nozzle help control overfilling during refueling?

An automatic nozzle uses a sensing and shut-off mechanism to stop fuel flow when the applicable filling condition is detected. This helps reduce the risk of overfilling, although correct nozzle positioning, suitable operating conditions, and proper handling remain important.

2. What should buyers consider when selecting a fuel nozzle for a dispensing system?

Buyers should evaluate the required flow rate, inlet thread, spout size, working pressure, fuel compatibility, and hose arrangement. The nozzle should match the pump and dispensing system rather than being selected by flow capacity alone.

3. What is the practical benefit of the VA-80’s 360° swivel connection?

A rotating swivel allows the nozzle to move more freely relative to the connected hose. This can reduce hose twisting during vehicle refueling and improve handling where the operator needs to approach the tank from different angles.

4. How should buyers choose between NBR and Viton seals?

Seal selection depends on the fuel composition, temperature, and operating conditions. NBR and Viton have different compatibility characteristics, so buyers should confirm the appropriate material for the intended fluid with the manufacturer before ordering.

5. When is the VA-80 suitable for fleet fueling or commercial dispensing?

The VA-80 can be considered for compatible fleet and commercial dispensing systems that operate within its specified flow and pressure range. Buyers should also verify the pump output, connection compatibility, intended fuel, and any applicable requirements for self-service or commercial fueling installations.
